Beautifully carved and subtly painted solid carved redwood canvasback hen by an unknown San Francisco Bay maker circa 1920s. One of only seven known by this skilled artist. The all original paint is well blended with a very nice patina. The keel under the tail is reminiscent of the divers by Fresh Air Dick Janson. Measures 15” in length.
