Mason Decoy Company Bufflehead Drake
Standard grade, glass-eye model bufflehead drake from the Mason Decoy Company (Detroit, MI) ca. 1910. Paint appears the have been applied at a later date and aged/worn to look old. I suspect this example started life as a bluebill or redhead as it is larger in size than one would expect a bufflehead to be. Measures 14” in length.
