Excellent and all original paint on this standard grade, tack eye model black duck from the Mason Decoy Company (Detroit, MI) ca. 1910. Not the paint loss to the back. Nice bright feathering. No indication that this example was ever weighted for use (no ballast or line tie holes). A little paint restoration to the areas on the back and this would be an excellent example. Measures 16” in length.
