Mario Marchi (Martinez, CA) is one of few early California decoy makers who made an amazing transition from early working decoys to the pinnacle of decorative carvings such as this beautiful green-winged teal pair. All original condition. The drake is hollow carved, signed and measures 11” in length and the hen is solid carved, signed and measures 10”. The very tip of the hens tail is slightly blunted.
