Solid carved redwood Pacific black brant attributed to Lewey Raice (Arcata, CA) ca. 1950s. Raice hunted with Dr. Robert Bryan (page 26 of Wildfowl Decoys of California). Both men used the patterns from Lyle Lancaster (page 49 of same). Excellent and all original paint. Measures 15” in length.
