Super early, Mason Decoy Company brant circa 1900. Rare, handmade, three piece style with the bill doweled through the head and the neck doweled to the body through the side of the neck. See page 80 of the first Mason Decoys book by Goldberger & Haid for a similar style Canada goose. There are only two Canada geese and two brant with this construction style known to exist. All original paint with in use wear. Measures 21” in length. An exceedingly rare example for the seasoned Mason collector.
