Rare pintail pair by Joseph Bennett (Rio Vista, CA) ca. 1938. This exact pair are pictured on page 396 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. The hen appears to be all original and the drake is likely a mix of original and old in use repaint. Both measure approximately 15” in length. Note the neck crack on the drake.
