Solid carved redwood Pacific black brant by Jerry McLellan (Eureka, CA) ca. 1950s. Under black light inspection the black shows as original with later touchup to the white on the tail and neck band. This could be one of the examples restored by the late artist Don Brewer as referenced in Wildfowl Decoys of the Pacific Coast by Michael Miller. Measures 17.5” in length.
