Very rare, excellent and all original paint, solid carved redwood, green-winged teal pair by Howard Davis (Berkeley, CA) ca. 1920s-30s. This exact pair are pictured on page 249 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Each measures 10” in length. This is without question the finest pair I’ve ever offered by this maker. Very stylish early California teal.
