Excellent and all original paint on this fine pintail pair by Fred Lefever (Stockton, CA) ca. 1940s. Constructed of kapok-stuffed canvas with shoe button eyes and unique inserted wire for the tails. Rare flat bottom style. The hen is in unused condition. Lefever mastered the stuffed and sewn canvas decoy design and it certainly shows.
