Noah Falk (1836-1928) was a pioneer lumbermen in Humboldt County. This exact decoy is documented in a large photo on page 34 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. The lead ballast weight is branded “F” three times. Note the old chip to the tip of the bill. Measures 17” in length.
