Without a doubt this is the finest example by Charles Perdew (Henry, IL 1874-1963) we’ve ever offered. Early example pre-1920. Three piece hollow construction. Excellent and all original paint by Edna Perdew protected by an old coat of varnish as is often found in these examples. Minor in use wear primarily showing on the head with a small check on the right cheek likely from a wayward BB. Retains the original pencil weight. Measures nearly 17” in length. Head is loose.
