Bill Zaffoda Pintail Pair

Wonderful pintail pair by Bill Zaffoda (San Leandro, CA) ca. 1948. Constructed of cork for the bodies, sugar pine heads and canvas over wire tails. This exact pair are pictured on page 333 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. The drake measures 16” in length and the hen is 17.5”.
